ISPA Poultry nECROPSY Support
The Indiana State Poultry Association has partnered with the Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (ADDL) to provide free necropsy services to exhibition and hobbyist flock owners who have been affected by disease.
If birds from your flock are sick, or if you have experienced unusual mortality in your flock, you can submit birds to the ADDL for a necropsy at no cost to you. The ADDL will determine the cause of the disease and/or mortality and provide a report to the flock owner with the results of the necropsy. The ADDL can also recommend next steps to take when responding to a disease incident in your flock.
If you would like to submit birds for necropsy, you may contact the lab at addl@purdue.edu or call:
West Lafayette, IN - Willie M. Reed ADDL: (765) 494-7440
Dubois, IN - Dennis R. Heeke ADDL: (812) 678 3401
