ISPA GOLDEN EGG AWARD

The ISPA Golden Egg Award was established to honor individuals that have gone above and beyond in their service to the poultry industry in the great state of Indiana. It is awarded on the night of the annual ISPA Poultry Banquet, held in February each year. If you would like to nominate an individual for the ISPA Golden Egg Award, you can use the form below to submit your nomination. All nominated individuals will be presented to the ISPA Board during the November ISPA Board Meeting, at which time they will select, by secret ballot, an individual to receive the ISPA Golden Egg Award. Golden Egg Award History

Click Here to view a PDF of a powerpoint presentation on the history of the Golden Egg Award. The first recipient of the Golden Egg Award was in 1948 to Professor C.W. Carrick. Back then the award was a unique desk set which included a fountain pen and golden egg mounted to desk plaque. In later years the Golden Egg Award was changed to a wall mounted plaque with a clock embedded in it. Today the Golden Egg Award is a set of marble bookends, where one bookend is the ISPA logo and the other an inscription of the recipients name and date of the award.
