Howard Helmer

Howard Helmer, Guinness World Record holder, global ambassador for the American Egg Board, Air Force veteran, culinary icon, and long-time friend of ISPA passed away on June 30, 2025 at the age of 87 years old.

Howard holds the Guinness World Record for fastest omelet cooker, an accolade he attained after preparing 427 omelets in just 30 minutes. He has traveled all over the world representing the American Egg Board at countless events, from state fairs to an international diplomatic culinary meeting with Fidel Castro. He has appeared on national television, preparing omelets for Oprah Winfrey and Steve Harvey. He even gave a cooking demonstration at the 2011 White House Easter Egg Roll.
